About SafetyFest

PASOSafe™, presents the inaugural SafetyFest; offering our residents and visitors in our local community, music, dancing, fun hands-on learning activities, with an opportunity to interact with First Responders and the area’s top safety professionals. There will be a scavenger hunt map for all families to visit booths for fun learning activities on how to be safe (in the event of a fire, earthquake, flood, etc.). There will also be safety-related vendors to help promote bike safety, mental health wellness, cybersecurity/safety and more. 


SafetyFest offers an enriching experience for a wide variety of attendees and enables the event organizations, sponsors, volunteers, and exhibitors an efficient platform to maximize impact.   


SafetyFest exhibit spaces are available; therefore, safety-related organizations and businesses are encouraged to submit an exhibitor application.

Hours / Schedule

  1. Set up time will be designated on your space assignment form. 
  2. Event begins at 10:00 a.m. and runs to 5:00 p.m. 
  3. NO EARLY DEPARTURES. All spaces must be cleared by 7:00 p.m.

Spaces

  • Booth Areas: Paso Robles Downtown City Park
  • Size: 15' x 15' Fee: $65 per space
  • Non-profits: $30 per space

Application Details

  • Application Deadline: August 13, 2022
  • All space assignments will be on a first come - first serve basis. 
  • Applicants Must Complete Form in Full. 
  • All checks for tax-deductible donations should be made payable to the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Advisory Foundation (SAF), Tax ID #77-0189925, which has been classified by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as being under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. No goods or services were received by the donor in exchange for this charitable contribution. SAF is CERT's funding agent. Add "N. County CERT-SafetyFest" in memo section of check and mail to PASOSafe™, PO Box 93, Paso Robles CA 93447. 
  • Credit card: Visit CERT's donation page & select "North County CERT" at https://safslo.org/product/cert/.
  • Exhibitor donations help cover event costs to make it possible to host event (hard costs including: printing of programs & signage, etc.) and event proceeds support N. SLO County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) & Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association.
  • SafetyFest is hosted by PASOSafe™, 100% volunteer-based initiative; therefore, no costs will be paid to any contractors or personnel.
  • Event proceeds support N. SLO County CERT; a public beneficiary program (sponsored by Paso Robles Fire & Emergency Services) that educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for the hazards that may impact our community and trains them in basic disaster response skills.

All Exhibitors

  1. If you are a business, you need to provide a copy of your Seller's RESALE Number (Board of Equalization). 
  2. If you are selling food items, offering product tastes, or face-painting, your business must have an Environmental Health permit valid in SLO County (call the county at 805-781-5544) and you must provide a Certificate of Insurance naming City of Paso Robles as additional insured entities on your policy of insurance.
  3. No selling or promotion of services out of cars or back of trucks.
  4. Exhibitors are responsible for cleanup and removal of their items after event.
  5. Sorry...We love our fury friends, but NO DOGS ALLOWED IN THE CITY PARK. (Ord. #489 City of P.R.)

Set-Up & Tear-Down

  1. What you need: Exhibitor participants should bring their own tables, tents, chairs & umbrellas. 
  2. PASOSafe™ will provide marked spaces and plastic bags for clean-up. PASOSafe™ will also be responsible for promoting and advertising event. 
  3. Set-up begins as early as 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. Once you have unloaded your vehicle, promptly move it to the long-term parking outlined in the parking regulation section. 
  4. Canopies and displays must be fire retardant. Electricity is not available. The early breakdown is not permitted. A 10'x10' portable canopy is recommended for exhibitors.

Parking Regulation

  1. You will be provided a parking map. The Parking is Paid Parking in Downtown. The map will show you where to park all day without a fee.
  2. By signing application, you agree to remove your vehicle to all-day lot or 3-blocks from the City Park from 9:30am to 5pm  - All-day lots at City Hall/Library lot or 12th & Railroad. 
  3. YOU MAY NOT KEEP YOUR VEHICLE IN OR AROUND THE PARK. This is a popular event & parking is tight. If customers can't park, they won't be attend event.

Confirmation / Refunds

  1. Confirmation will be mailed one week prior to event and will include your space assignment and a map. 
  2. No refunds for cancellations after Aug. 13, 2022. 
  3. No rain checks - event goes forward rain or shine. 
  4. PASOSafe™ personnel reserve the right to change or substitute vendor spaces for the benefit of the event and its participants.

Event Map

SafetyFest event is taking place in the Paso Robles Downtown City Park. 


Presentations are in the Gazebo – in the center of the park. Don't miss opening ceremony and Safety presentations starting at 10:30am sharp!


SafetyFest Check-in is at the PASOSafe Booth, located in front of the park entrance – located in front of the  Flags/Kids House on the center of 12th St. (where 12th intersects with Park St.). 


Safety Exhibitors, first responders, food snack vendors, demonstrations and activities will be located throughout the Park. 


We look forward to seeing everyone on Saturday, Aug 20th between 10am to 5pm!
